embroidery project #2
Second project!

I decided to this one because it was a pretty big pattern, so I thought it might be nice to really see what it was like to do a longer project, and I wanted to practice using other types of stitches-- so, this one has stem stitch and single chains. (It was supposed to have french knots, but I never went back to do those!) I found the pattern over at The Spruce Crafts.
It's pretty messy-looking, as I stitched it with 6 strands of floss instead of 2, because I was feelin' lazy and didn't want to fuss with separating the strands. THUS... I ran out of purple for the middle segment, tried to adlib a creative criss-crossy pattern with pink instead, and things just ended up Awkward. But!! It was a learning experience for sure!
